This series is the beginning of a project that takes a look at different species of British birds that surround me on a daily basis. Many of these images were taken during my time in Cornwall. This was over the three years I was a Marine and Natural History Photography student at Falmouth University.

 

I decided to use the campus hide to take many of these images as it allowed me to sit for hours while observing bird behaviour. I was able to capture some really sharp photographs of birds like robins and blue tits while also being visited by a local squirrel. This series also includes some images of Herring Gulls located at Gyllyngvase beach in Falmouth.

 

This is an on going series that I am hoping to develop over the years.
